    Abstract: A battery indicator estimates a remaining battery capacity when a controller instructs a driving power source to start the power supply based on a battery voltage detected at a timing when the controller instructs the driving power source to start the power supply. The controller instructs the driving power source to stop the power supply after the discharge of a secondary battery by a charge-discharge circuit is ended and at a timing when a battery voltage being measured by a voltage measurer is stabilized.

    Abstract: Provided is a battery pack that is charged by being connected to a charger and discharged by being connected to a load, the battery pack including: a charge-discharge terminal 1a including a positive electrode terminal, a negative electrode terminal, and a temperature terminal; a secondary battery that is charged and discharged through the positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal; a current measurement unit that measures a charge-discharge current of the secondary battery; a thermistor which is connected to the temperature terminal and which measures a battery temperature of the secondary battery; a voltage switching unit that intermittently outputs to the temperature terminal an applied voltage that causes the thermistor to operate; and a control unit that recognizes a connected state of the charge-discharge terminal on the basis of the voltage at the temperature terminal in an on-period and an off-period of the applied voltage, and the charge-discharge current.

    Abstract: A battery pack is provided in which the battery pack itself can recognize a determination of a full charge, which is made by a charger, without using a communication line. A battery pack is provided with a secondary battery, current measurement means for measuring a charging current for charging the secondary battery, and a control circuit which receives an output signal from the current measurement means. The control circuit determines that the secondary battery is fully charged when a reduction rate of the charging current in a unit time exceeds a predetermined value.
