Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing decorative prints having identical quality on at least two carrier materials comprising the following steps: a) providing at least one print motif; b) converting the at least one print motif into at least one high resolution electronic data set having a resolution of up to 1200 dpi, preferably 1000 dpi, by means of at least one image processing software; c) reducing the resolution of the at least one high resolution electronic data set down to 100 dpi, preferably 60 to 80 dpi, by means of at least one image processing software; d) creating at least one first print décor on at least one first carrier material by using at least one digital printer by means of the at least one resolution reduced electronic data set; e) creating at least one print cylinder for a gravure printing process by using at least one resolution reduced electronic data set, wherein the resolution reduced electronic data set can be identical to or different from the resolution reduced electronic data set used for the digital printing; and f) creating at least one second print décor on at least one second carrier material by using the at least one print cylinder. The invention further relates to a device for performing said method.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for online quality control of decorative prints on substrate materials, including similarity comparisons of actual and target images and adjusting decorative prints if deviations of color values are detected. The method may include the steps of: a) producing a hyperspectral digital image of a print decoration; b) calibrating the print decoration via a hyperspectral digital image; c) producing and storing a digital target image of the print decoration; d) creating a first print decoration on a first substrate material; e) producing and storing a digital actual image of the printed decoration on the first substrate material; f) determining color deviations between the digital target image and the digital actual image via a computer program; and g) printing on at least one side of substrate materials so as to form a decorative layer. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out the method.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for finishing a panel, the method includes a) a relief embossed into the upper side in the form of at least one strip-shaped depression with a depth (T), b) a decorative paper applied to the upper side, c) an overlay paper applied to the decorative paper as an abrasion-resistant layer, d) the lower side provided with a backing layer, e) the structure pressed at a high pressure and temperature, and f) during the pressing, at least one strip-shaped depression again embossed in a second embossing without changing the depth (T). Also, the upper side features a press skin that has a thickness of 0.3 to 0.5 mm, the bulk density of the panel in a top layer is between 950 and 1,000 kg/m3, and an aqueous melamine resin is applied to the upper side as a tempering agent before or after embossing.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for finishing a supplied building panel made of a wood material, in particular MDF or HDF, with an upper side and a lower side, wherein, in a first embossing step, a relief is embossed at least into the upper side as first strip-shaped depressions with two opposing side walls, a bottom wall connecting said side walls and a depth (T), and subsequently a decorative pattern (3) is printed on the embossed upper side of the building panel, and the decorative pattern is then sealed by applying an abrasion-resistant layer (4). According to the invention, additional depressions extending at an angle (α) transversely to the first depressions are embossed, and the large-format supplied building panel is divided into individual panels by carrying out a saw cut in and along each of the depressions.
