摘要: A method for performing simultaneous operations at a wellsite comprising two or more adjacent wellheads, each respectively connected to a well, may include the following steps: providing a fluid supply via upstream equipment to an intermediate supply point; fluidly connecting the intermediate supply point to a single wellhead, the fluidly connecting comprising connecting a first end of a flexible pipe to the intermediate supply point and a second end of the flexible pipe to a first wellhead; performing a wellbore operation on a first well using the fluid supply from the upstream equipment supplied to the first wellhead; disconnecting the second end of the flexible pipe from the first wellhead; and connecting the second end of the flexible pipe to a second wellhead.

摘要: A swivel joint comprises a tubular female member which is rotatably connected to a tubular male member. The female member includes a female race portion having an axially extending inner annular recess, a female inner end portion which is formed at an axially inner end of the recess, and a number of inner annular grooves which are formed in the recess coaxially therewith. The male member includes a male race portion having an annular outer surface which is configured to be received in the recess, a male nose portion which is formed at an end of the male race portion, and a number of outer annular grooves which are formed on the outer surface coaxially therewith. The male race portion is positioned in the female race portion such that the male nose portion is located adjacent the female inner end portion and each outer groove is aligned with a corresponding inner groove to thereby define a number of annular bearing races within which a plurality of balls are received to thereby rotatably connect the male member to the female member. The swivel joint includes a first primary seal which is positioned between the male nose portion and the female inner end portion, and a second primary seal which is positioned between the male nose portion and the female inner end portion radially outwardly of the first primary seal. The male and female members define a flow bore through the swivel joint which is sealed by the first primary seal and, in the event of a failure of the first primary seal, the second primary seal.

摘要: A manifold assembly for connecting a plurality of pumping units to a wellhead includes at least one main line which is connectable to the wellhead and includes a plurality of discharge connectors, and a plurality of articulating arm assemblies which are each connected to a corresponding discharge connector. Each arm assembly comprises a connector member which includes at least an inlet port, an outlet port and a third port that is located generally opposite the outlet port and is closed by a removable plug member, an articulating conduit assembly which comprises a first end that is connected to the inlet port and a second end that is connectable to a corresponding one of the plurality of pumping units, and a riser swivel which is connected between the outlet port and the discharge connector. In use of the manifold assembly, each arm assembly is connected to a corresponding pumping unit and the main line is connected to the wellhead to thereby connect the pumping units to the wellhead.

摘要: A flowline system for fluidly connecting a fracturing manifold to a fracturing tree includes a first flowline assembly which is pre-assembled with the manifold, the first flowline assembly comprising a number of preassembled first flowline components and a first connection member which is located distally of the manifold; and a second flowline assembly which is connected to the tree, the second flowline assembly comprising a number of preassembled second flowline components and a second connection member which is located distally of the tree. The first and second connection members are configured to be releasably connected together to thereby fluidly connect the manifold to the tree.

摘要: A swivel joint includes a tubular female member which is rotatably connected to a tubular male member. The female member includes a female race portion having an axially extending inner annular recess, a female inner end portion which is formed at an axially inner end of the recess, and a number of inner annular grooves which are formed in the recess coaxially therewith. The male member includes a male race portion having an annular outer surface which is configured to be received in the recess, a male nose portion which is formed at an end of the male race portion, and a number of outer annular grooves which are formed on the outer surface coaxially therewith. The male race portion is positioned in the female race portion such that the male nose portion is located adjacent the female inner end portion and each outer groove is aligned with a corresponding inner groove to thereby define a number of annular bearing races within which a plurality of balls are received to thereby rotatably connect the male member to the female member. A first primary seal is positioned between the male nose portion and the female inner end portion, and a second seal is positioned between the male nose portion and the female inner end portion radially outwardly of the first primary seal. The male nose portion comprises an end wall which extends radially outwardly from the flow bore and a conical side wall which extends both radially and axially outwardly relative to the cylindrical side wall, and the second seal comprises at least a first portion which sealingly engages the conical side wall.
