摘要: A vehicle includes a rear axle having wheels, friction brakes associated with the wheels, and a driver-actuatable input. A vehicle controller is programmed to, in response to the vehicle being in drift mode and the driver-actuatable input being actuated: command zero torque to the wheels, regardless of a driver-demanded torque, for a duration of time; command engagement of the friction brakes responsive to the duration of time ending; and command torque to the wheels responsive to a speed of the wheels being less than a threshold.

摘要: A vehicle determines that a vehicle enhanced driving mode has been requested. The vehicle determines whether a condition for engaging such a mode has been met. Additionally, the vehicle offers a user-override, when the condition has not been met and the condition is a condition defined as over-rideable and responsive to override acceptance, engaging the requested driving mode. In other instances, the vehicle monitors mode usage against predefined maximum usage constraints, and may facilitate excess mode usage if constraints are exceeded.

The vehicle further includes left and right torque-vector control devices each having an actuator with a released position, a fully actuated position, and a plurality of intermediate positions. A vehicle controller is programmed to, in response to the vehicle turning and one of the actuators being actuated, command different torques to the left and right wheels to produce torque vectoring between the wheels, wherein a difference between the torques commanded to the wheels increases as the actuator moves toward the fully actuated position and decreases as the actuator moves toward the fully released position.

摘要: A vehicle determines that it is within a predefined proximity of a location for which an alternative tire pressure different from a current vehicle tire pressure has been defined. The vehicle changes a tire pressure monitoring system setting to utilize the alternative tire pressure as an alert threshold, responsive to determining that the vehicle is within the predefined proximity. Also, the vehicle determines that the vehicle has traveled more than a predefined distance from the location and, responsive to the vehicle having traveled more than a predefined distance, reverts the tire pressure monitoring system to use base settings for alert thresholds.

摘要: Controlling maximum appliable positive and negative torque for a vehicle is provided. Vehicle data indictive of a driver torque request is received. Maximum appliable positive and negative torques for the vehicle are estimated. Responsive to the driver torque request being positive, the driver torque request is limited to the maximum appliable positive torque. Responsive to the driver torque request being negative, the driver torque request is limited to the maximum appliable negative torque.
