摘要: A system and method for automatically harvesting fish from an aquaculture cage is provided. Underwater robotic rovers draw out a large net from a protective enclosure. The net is manipulated to corral or concentrate the fish into a smaller volume. Transponders installed at strategic locations throughout the cage facilitate navigation of the rovers.

摘要: A system and method for remote monitoring and command and control of one or many offshore aquafarms is provided. Operators are able to securely access web applications and services hosted in the cloud through which husbandry functions such as feeding fish, cleaning the cage and removing mortalities can be automatically scheduled and executed. Offshore aquafarms relay information, such as environmental sensor data and video feeds back to the cloud to be viewed by the operators.

The system may include an underwater robotic vehicle configured to traverse the aquaculture cage to collect mortalities. The mortalities, once collected, may be brought to a system dock and then removed from the cage.
