摘要： An electrical connector includes: an insulative housing having a row of slots defined by plural dividing walls thereof, and plural contacts secured in the insulative housing and each including a securing portion, a front contacting portion disposed in a corresponding slot, and a rear tail, wherein the plurality of dividing walls includes a group of first dividing walls each having a first length and a group of second dividing walls each having a second length along a front-to-back direction, and the first length is shorter than the second length to expose to air a larger extent of the front contacting portions of associated contacts disposed in the slots defined by the group of first dividing walls with respect to the front contacting portions of associated contacts disposed in the slots defined by the group of second dividing walls.

摘要： An electrical connector assembly includes a plug connector, a cable electrically connecting to the plug connector, an outer cover enclosing the plug connector and the cable, a pair of latches mounted to the plug connector, and a pair of buttons mounted to the outer cover for operating the pair of latches, wherein each of the pair of latches includes a spring arm, a securing portion at an inner side of the spring arm, and a pressing portion at an outer side of the spring arm, and each of the pair of buttons includes a pivot at one end thereof, a stopper at an opposite end thereof, and an abutting portion coupled to the pressing portion.

摘要： An electrical connector includes: an insulative housing having a recess at an outer surface thereof; plural contacts secured to the insulative housing and each including a securing portion, a front contacting portion, and a rear tail; an internal printed circuit board (PCB) having plural conductive pads connected to the rear tails of the contacts and an auxiliary ground pad; a metallic cover enclosing the insulative housing; and a coupling piece received in the recess of the insulative housing, the coupling piece either connecting the metallic cover to the auxiliary ground pad of the PCB or connecting the metallic cover to a corresponding ground contact of the plurality of contacts or both.

摘要： A plug connector includes: an insulative housing having a front mating end and a rear terminating end; a conductive module received in the insulative housing and exposed to the front mating end; a rod mounted to the insulative housing; a latch mounted to the insulative housing, the latch including a securing portion, a latching portion movable between a latched position and a released position, and an operating portion operable by the rod to move the latching portion to the released position; and a pulling tab connected to the rod, wherein the insulative housing includes a pair of grooves and the rod is slidable in the pair of grooves by the pulling tab to operate the operating portion of the latch to move the latching portion to the released position.
