    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide is an optical laminate film exhibiting excellent reflection tint and an organic EL display device using this optical laminate film and exhibiting excellent reflection tint when turned off. The object is achieved by providing an optical laminate film including a polarizer, a phase difference layer, and a circularly polarized light separating layer in this order, in which an in-plane retardation Re(550) of the phase difference layer is 120 to 160 nm, the polarizer and the phase difference layer are arranged to form an angle of 45°±10°, the circularly polarized light separating layer is a cholesteric liquid crystal layer formed by fixing a cholesteric liquid crystalline phase and having a liquid crystalline molecule as a main component, and Re(550) is 0.5 to 3.0 nm, and an optical laminate film in which a circularly polarized light separating layer has an in-plane phase difference and an angle formed between a slow axis of a phase difference layer and a slow axis of the circularly polarized light separating layer is −30° to 30°.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an organic EL image display device including a light emitting element substrate, and a circularly polarizing plate, in which the light emitting element substrate includes a reflecting layer and an organic electroluminescent layer on the reflecting layer, the reflecting layer, the organic electroluminescent layer, and the circularly polarizing plate are arranged in this order, a polarization separation layer is provided between the organic electroluminescent layer and the circularly polarizing plate, the polarization separation layer includes a polarization separation region that reflects light of one polarization state in light emitted from the organic electroluminescent layer, and transmits light of another polarization state, and a visible light transmission region, the polarization separation region is formed of a layer formed by immobilizing a cholesteric liquid crystalline phase, and a positive C region-containing layer is provided between the organic electroluminescent layer and the circularly polarizing plate. The organic EL image display device according to the present invention has high brightness and little light leakage and blurring at the time of oblique observation.

    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a photo-alignable polymer which has excellent coating properties, is capable of suppressing film thickness unevenness, and has excellent upper layer coating properties and good liquid crystal alignment properties after being formed as a layer; a binder composition; a binder layer; an optical laminate; a method for producing an optical laminate; and an image display device. The photo-alignable polymer of an embodiment of the present invention is a photo-alignable polymer having a repeating unit A including a cleavage group capable of decomposing by an action of at least one selected from the group consisting of light, heat, an acid, and a base to generate a polar group, in which the repeating unit A has the cleavage group in a side chain, has a fluorine atom or a silicon atom on a side closer to a terminal than the cleavage group in the side chain, and the photo-alignable polymer satisfies Condition 1 or Condition 2 shown below.
    Condition 1: The photo-alignable polymer further has a repeating unit B including a photo-alignable group, in addition to the repeating unit A.
    Condition 2: The repeating unit A includes a photo-alignable group on a side closer to the main chain than the cleavage group in the side chain.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an organic electroluminescent display device that further suppresses reflection of external light and a change in tint in a case of being viewed in an oblique direction, a phase difference film, and a circularly polarizing plate. This organic electroluminescent display device has an organic electroluminescent display panel and a circularly polarizing plate. The circularly polarizing plate has a polarizer and a phase difference film. The phase difference film has, from the polarizer side, a positive A-plate, a first positive C-plate, and a λ/4 plate. The positive A-plate and the first positive C-plate have predetermined optical properties. The in-plane slow axis of the positive A-plate and the absorption axis of the polarizer are orthogonal to each other. The angle formed between the in-plane slow axis of the positive A-plate and the in-plane slow axis of the λ/4 A plate is 45°±10°.
