    Abstract: Provided are a processing method and a processing apparatus in which a concentration of a solid content of a development fatigue liquid is low and a moisture content of a discharged solid substance is small. The processing method is a method for removing a first solid substance having a smaller specific gravity than the washout liquid and a second solid substance having a larger specific gravity than the washout liquid from a development fatigue liquid including a solid substance generated by removal of a non-exposed portion of a photosensitive resin plate that has been exposed in an image shape by development using the washout liquid. The method includes a first step of centrifugally separating the first solid substance and the second solid substance included in the development fatigue liquid in a rotating container, accumulating the second solid substance on an inner wall of the container, and accumulating the first solid substance on a holding member provided in the container, a second step of discharging the development fatigue liquid from the container in a state in which the first solid substance accumulated on the holding member is held on the holding member, and a third step of rotating the container, thereby removing the first solid substance held on the holding member from the holding member.

This conveying type washing device develops a flexographic printing plate precursor after imagewise exposure using a washing solution. The conveying type washing device has a conveying unit that conveys the flexographic printing plate precursor through a conveying path including a curved conveying path, and a development unit that develops the flexographic printing plate precursor in a state in which the flexographic printing plate precursor is immersed in the washing solution by the conveying unit and conveyed.

    Abstract: Provided is to provide a cylindrical printing plate with which printing of excellent solid density and high halftone dot quality is made possible, and further print medium followability and printing durability are excellent, a cylindrical printing plate precursor, a method for manufacturing a cylindrical printing plate precursor, and a method for manufacturing a cylindrical printing plate. A cylindrical printing plate includes a relief layer having a first hard layer, a soft layer, and a second hard layer in this order from a printing surface side, in which a hardness K1 of the first hard layer is 10 MPa or more and less than 20 MPa, a ratio K1/K2 of the hardness K1 of the first hard layer with respect to a hardness K2 of the soft layer is 2.7 or more, a ratio K3/K2 of a hardness K3 of the second hard layer with respect to the hardness K2 of the soft layer is 1.2 or more, a thickness of the first hard layer is 0.05 mm or more and 0.3 mm or less, and a thickness of the soft layer is 0.3 mm or more and 2.0 mm or less.

    Abstract: The present invention is to provide a flexographic printing plate having excellent ink uniformity in an image area, particularly, in a solid portion regardless of a printing speed, a method for manufacturing the flexographic printing plate, and a flexographic printing plate precursor used in the manufacturing of the flexographic printing plate. The flexographic printing plate of the present invention is a flexographic printing plate having a relief layer provided with a non-image area, and an image area having an uneven structure formed on the surface, in which a concave portion constituting the uneven structure is formed of at least one of a plurality of grooves having a fixed width extending in one direction or a plurality of hole groups constituted of a plurality of bottomed holes having the same diameter scattered in the one direction, a depth of the concave portion is 2 to 20 μm, each of the plurality of grooves and the plurality of hole groups is arranged in an orthogonal direction orthogonal to the one direction, and the grooves and the bottomed holes respectively have two or more kinds of widths and diameters.
