Abstract: An optical cable structure includes connector-equipped optical fibers, derived from an end portion of a sheath of an optical cable, that are accommodated in a tubular member. Each of the connector-equipped optical fibers includes a derivation optical fiber from the end portion of the sheath and an optical connector disposed at a distal portion of the derivation optical fiber. Lengths of at least some of the derivation optical fibers are different from each other. Each of the derivation optical fibers includes a proximal-side optical fiber on an end portion side of the sheath, a distal-side optical fiber on an optical connector side, and a connecting portion connecting the proximal-side optical fiber to the distal-side optical fiber. The connecting portions are disposed in the tubular member when the connector-equipped optical fibers are accommodated in the tubular member.

Abstract: A connector system includes: a first ferrule configured to hold end parts of multi-core fibers; a second ferrule configured to hold end parts of single-core fibers; and an optical connection member. The optical connection member is arranged between the first and the second ferrule, and includes an optical system configured to optically connect respective cores included in the multi-core fibers and the single-core fibers. A guide pin is formed on one of the first and the second ferrule, and a guide hole is formed in another of the first and the second ferrule. A through hole is formed in the optical connection member, and the first ferrule, the optical connection member, and the second ferrule can be aligned by fitting the guide pin in the guide hole through the through hole.

Abstract: A housing structure includes: an optical cable including optical fibers; connector units branching off from the optical cable; and a housing body that houses the connector units. Each of the connector units includes: a first tube through which the optical fibers pass; second tubes through each of which the optical fibers branching off from the first tube pass; and a connector group constituted by optical connectors that are each disposed at an end part of each of the second tubes.
