Abstract:
A paper sheet handling apparatus includes a handling section and a plurality of housing units. The handling section includes an upstream conveyance mechanism and a validation section. The upstream conveyance mechanism conveys paper sheets. The validation section validates paper sheets conveyed by the upstream conveyance mechanism. The housing units each include a downstream conveyance mechanism and a housing section. The downstream conveyance mechanism conveys paper sheets conveyed from the handling section. The housing section houses therein paper sheets conveyed by the downstream conveyance mechanism. Each of the housing units can be coupled to another one thereof via the downstream conveyance mechanisms, and a group of the downstream conveyance mechanisms, which are coupled together, is coupled to a group of the housing sections in a manner that allows the group of the downstream conveyance mechanisms to integrally pivot with respect to the group of the housing sections.
Abstract:
An erroneous coin insertion preventive mechanism of a banknote handling machine prevents a user from erroneously inserting a coin (or a token) through a banknote slot of the banknote handling machine. When a coin 28 is erroneously inserted through a banknote slot 17, an erroneous coin insertion preventive mechanism 20 holds the rigid coin 28 by three points of a front end contact part 29 and a rear lower surface contact part 31 formed by a horizontal surface 26 and a conveyance path lower surface part 27, and an upper surface intermediate contact part 32 formed by a lower bent part of a descending slope surface of a conveyance path upper surface part 24, thereby preventing the coin 28 from entering an inside of the device from the banknote slot 17. A gap L is provided between the conveyance path upper surface part 24 and the conveyance path lower surface part 27 so that a banknote bundle 33 of a specified number of flexible banknotes thicker than the coin 28 may pass through the gap in bent form.
Abstract:
A paper sheet feeding apparatus includes an inserting unit in which a paper sheet is inserted, a pick-up roller for picking up a paper sheet inserted in the inserting unit, a rotating shaft for rotating the pick-up roller, a detecting member that is supported by the rotating shaft so as to be able to rotate around the rotating shaft and is rotated by a bundling member that bundles paper sheets together, and a first detecting unit that detects rotation of the detecting member.
Abstract:
A paper sheet accommodation apparatus includes: a supply reel which supplies a wound band-like material; a winding drum around which a paper sheet is wound together with the band-like material that is supplied from the supply reel; and a roller member which is disposed along an axial direction of the winding drum and presses the band-like material and the paper sheet that are wound around the winding drum against the winding drum. The roller member includes a first roller portion in contact with the band-like material, and a second roller portion in contact with the paper sheet in the axial direction of the winding drum.
Abstract:
A paper sheet accommodating apparatus includes: a reel configured to supply a winded belt-like member; a drum configured to roll up a paper sheet together with the belt-like member supplied from the reel; and a transmission unit configured to transmit, at a time of roll-up of the belt-like member that is caused by rotation of the drum, rotation of the reel co-rotating with the roll-up, to the drum, to assist rotation of the drum.
Abstract:
A control method of a paper sheet storage mechanism that can wind or feed out tape while preventing the tape from becoming loose while maintaining a certain level of tension of the tape. A drum control unit controls a drum driving source in such a manner that a tape speed detected by a tape speed detection unit is constant. When a drum winds a paper sheet, a reel driving source rotatably drives a pair of reels in the direction of feeding out a pair of pieces of tape. A reel control unit controls the reel driving source in such a manner that reeling speeds detected by reeling speed detection units are lower than a tape speed. Further, rotation shafts of the reels are provided with a torque limiter that causes the rotation shafts to idle when a torque greater than a prescribed value is applied to the rotation shafts.
Abstract:
A paper sheet handling apparatus includes an input/output unit that is used to put in or take out a paper sheet; a distinguishing unit that distinguishes the paper sheet; an accommodating unit that temporarily accommodates the paper sheet sent from the input/output unit; a storage unit that stores therein the paper sheet sent from the accommodating unit; a conveying mechanism that includes a two-way direction conveying path that connects the input/output unit, the distinguishing unit, the accommodating unit, and the storage unit with each other and conveys the paper sheet in both directions; and a controller that is configured to control the conveying mechanism.
