Abstract: An electric motor that can facilitate a process of manufacturing the electric motor. The electric motor includes a substrate mounted with an electronic component, a first connector provided on a stator, the first connector configured to receive a power signal input to a coil and a communication signal with the electronic component, and a wiring structure communicably connecting the electronic component and the first connector. The wiring structure has a second connector mounted on the substrate, and a third connector fixed to the stator, the third connector configured to be connected to the second connector and configured to attach the substrate to the stator by an operation of moving the substrate toward the stator.

Abstract: A motor includes a sheet-like gasket for sealing the gap between a stator core and an encoder. The gasket has a structure including a metal plate and a sealing member covering the metal plate, and the gasket includes a first portion that is disposed at least between the end face on one end side of the stator core and the encoder and a second portion that has a structure including the sealing member with no metal plate and extends inward from the first portion to contact the projection.

Abstract: A rotary encoder is for detecting the rotation position or rotation speed of a shaft. The rotary encoder includes: a rotation code plate having a detection code and to be rotated by the shaft; and a boss attached to the rotation center of the rotation code plate and used for attaching the rotation code plate to the shaft. The boss is made of a resin material. The boss includes a fitting hole formed at the rotation center of the boss and used for making a fit with the shaft through press-fitting.
