    摘要: A balancing loop including a housing inside of which is disposed a first conductor part having a first sublength and a second sublength, with the first sublength constructed as a coaxial line passing through the housing and having its inner conductor terminated inside the housing and connected to a second conductor part, and the second sublength extending from the termination of the inner conductor to the second conductor part to an output line. The second conductor part also has the first and second sublengths and extends spaced apart from and parallel to the first conductor part. The second conductor part has one side connected to the housing and the other side to another output line. The output lines connected to the first and second conductor parts thereby form two symmetrical output lines which lead out of the housing. At least one variable capacitor is arranged between the first and second conductor parts to tune the balancing loop over the operating frequency range. The characteristic line impedance of the first and second conductor parts and the first sublength are chosen such that the balancing loop can be tuned to a different frequency only by means of the variable capacitor, and without the need for changing the electrical length of the first sublength.

    摘要: A field strength measuring instrument for simultaneously measuring E and H fields is described. A loop antenna is formed by a half-loop (1) which is terminated by a metal surface (2). Due to the mirror effect of the metal surface (2), this arrangement, in field theory, is equivalent to a loop antenna which is divided into a first and a second half-loop (1, 5) by two load resistors (4a, 4b) arranged at opposite ends of the loop antenna. A circuit (8) for determining the field strengths of the E and H fields by means of the voltages (V.sub.1, V.sub.2) measured across the load resistors (4a, 4b) is arranged in a part-space shielded from the first half-loop (1) by the metal surface (2).

    摘要: In TEM waveguide arrangements such as are used in testing the electromagnetic compatibility of electronic devices in electromagnetic fields, a plate-shaped inner conductor is connected via electrically parallel-connected tubular resistors to an electrically conductive, spherical rear wall. This rear wall is electrically connected to an outer conductor and grounded. Radio-frequency absorbers are mounted on the rear wall for the purpose of absorbing TEM waves, the RF short-point absorbers adjacent to the tubular resistor being smaller than the remaining RF long-point absorbers, in order to reduce the capacitive influence of the tubular resistors. Identical tubular resistors are arranged perpendicular to the plane of the drawing of FIG. 1 in accordance with a current density distribution in such a way that they are more closely adjacent at the edge than in the middle of the inner conductor.
