Abstract: Described herein is a perfume composition including at least one sulfur-containing pro-fragrance compound and at least one aldehydic perfumery raw material, where the at least one aldehydic perfumery raw material is present in an amount effective to reduce the formation of hydrogen sulfide from the sulfur-containing pro-fragrance. Also described herein are consumer products including the perfume composition as well as the use of at least one aldehydic perfumery raw material for reducing the formation of hydrogen sulfide from a sulfur-containing pro-fragrance.
