Abstract: An image scanning method applied in an image scanning device capable of scanning a card. Record background values at the time of a card being without being in a scanning channel, and the background values recorded at the time of the card being without being in the scanning channel are regarded as preset values. Before the card is scanned, check whether the background values in the scanning channel conform to the preset values. Drive the card to move a distance Y. Check whether the background values in the scanning channel conform to the preset values. Preset a preset movement distance, check whether a movement distance of the card or a distance of accumulated movements of the card exceeds the preset movement distance. Display that the card is stuck. Stop checking and proceeding an image calibration. Start scanning the card. Complete scanning the card and withdraw the card.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a document scanning apparatus which is composed of an automatic document feeding device and an image capturing device. The document scanning apparatus establishes a private area network between the automatic document feeding device and the image capturing device, and causes the automatic document feeding device to send a message to the image capturing device. When the message is received, said image capturing device performs corresponding operations in response to the message. Said operations may comprise, for example adjusting the relative position between the image capturing device and the automatic document feeding device or doing multi-documents scan.

Abstract: An image correction device includes an input tray, a pickup roller, a separation roller, a plurality of first and second feed rollers, a scanning area, a sensor unit, a control unit, a plurality of paper-out rollers and a paper-out tray. The control unit electrically connects with the sensor unit and controls rotating speeds of the first and second feed rollers. An image correction method of image correction device is described hereinafter. When the paper is going to pass through the scanning area, the sensor unit sends a first signal to the control unit, when the sensor unit detects a transmitting status or a transmitting speed of the paper to be changed, the sensor unit sends a second signal to the control unit for modulating rotating speeds of the first and second feed rollers and the transmitting speed of the paper until the paper is scanned completely.
