Abstract: A computer comprising a network communication interface, at least one memory, a processor coupled to the at least one memory and configured to: receive a request parameter and one or more authentication factors from a current user through a network and the network communication interface, identify an authentication file based on the received authentication factors of the current user, a first authentication factor is compared with a first authentication file and the second authentication factor is compared with a second authentication file, based at least in part on the request parameter and authentication factors, identify a first rule set, from among a plurality of rule sets defining requirements for user authentications, based on the first rule set, obtain one or more verification parameters from the identified authentication file for authentication, at least one obtained verification parameter corresponding to biometric information of the current user.

Abstract: A trash can with a power operated lid can include a lifting mechanism with a motor, a lifting member, and a variable gear. In some embodiments, the motor is operably connected with the variable gear such that the motor can drive the variable gear and/or the lifting member. In certain implementations, the variable gear includes one or more teeth with varying tooth radii. In some variants, the variable gear and a clutch member are engageable and are configured to allow manual operation of the lid.

Abstract: A trash can with a lid can include a lock for the lid. The lock can include a latch that cooperates with the trash container body to lock the lid over the opening of the body. The latch can be configured to slide with respect to the edge of the opening of the body from an unlocked position to a locked position. This latch can be integrated into, built into or self contained in the lid. The trash can can also include a pedal actuator for opening the lid. The trash can can also include a damping mechanism mounted to the body of the trash can with a mounting plate. The mounting plate can be made from a material that is harder than the material used for the body of the trash can. Additionally, the trash can can have wheels.

Abstract: A sink organizer includes a section defining a compartment having an extendable, collapsible and/or expandable base that provides a deeper holding section with an extended base to support a long slender shaped item, such as a long-handle brush. The expandable base has a telescopic structure, which may be in the form of an accordion-like structure having annular folding sections or other form of axially collapsible or telescopic structure (e.g., a concentric coupling of a series of nested and axially interlocking cylindrical collars of gradually reducing dimensions). Suction cups provide mounting of the sink organizer onto a sink wall. A bracket is attached to the side of the sink organizer where the suction cup mounting is also provided. The bracket has a handle, which is configured to rest against the top edge of the sink, thus providing additional support for stabilizing the sink organizer after it is attached to the sink wall by the suction cups.
