摘要： A method of manufacturing articles in which the articles are partially fabricated in a work area which is in portion of a buoyant platform and at least partially below the level of water within which the platform is located, the partially fabricated article being moved rearwardly through a seal or gland into the water, the seal or gland preventing water ingress to the work area. The article is supported by the rearward portion of the platform which fabrication can continue in the work area.
