The vat includes a first side vat segment partially enclosing the first press roll and a second side vat segment partially enclosing the second press roll and casing members for each of the vat segments, the first casing member being pivotable about an axis of rotation and between closed and open positions, pulp distribution devices for distributing pulp onto the press rolls, at least one of the pulp distribution devices being mounted on the casing member whereby it is moved away from the press roll together with the casing member when it is opened.

The apparatus includes a stator ring, a pair of diagonally disposed guide pins supporting the stator ring with respect to the bearing housing so that the stator ring can be angled in a plane with respect to the pair of guide pins, a sealing ring for creating a seal between the stator ring and the axle journal, a bellows for creating a seal between the bearing housing and the stator ring, and at least one resilient member for urging the stator ring in abutment against the sealing ring.

摘要： The present invention relates to a washing apparatus for washing of cellulose pulp comprising: a rotatable drum (2), a stationary support (14), a stationary cylindrical casing (18), that encloses the drum, whereby an annular space (20) is defined between the casing and the drum, a number of seals (22) that are arranged on the casing and that seals between the casing and the drum, such that the annular space is divided in a formation zone (F), at least one washing zone (T1, T2), and a discharge zone (U), and at least a reinforcing frame rib (24), that is attached to the casing. The reinforcing frame rib (24) extends around the entire casing (18) for fixing the casing in a predetermined form, whereby detrimental deformation of the casing (18), when washing the paper pulp at overpressure, is prevented.

The medium is conveyed over an edge of the passage extending transverse to the direction of the flow, and the edge is designed to obtain a propagation along the flowing path of the diverging medium that provides a substantially even and parallel flow of the medium along the outlet gap. Apparatus for achieving this method is also disclosed.
