    摘要： A household appliance such as a dishwasher, washing machine, stove and the like, with a base setback on the front thereof, in which the facing of the base setback is constructed from two wall plates, each of which may be shortened to a desired width. One of the wall plates extends in the plane of the front side of the appliance while the other wall plate is fastened to a lower edge zone of the first plate. The second wall plate extends parallel to the base of the appliance with its edge facing from the front resting against a base plate movable horizontally of the appliance. This permits varying the depth and height of a base setback of an appliance in a simple efficient manner to match the base setback of adjacent cabinets.

    摘要： A method for executing a washing program in a dishwasher includes a spray system for spraying a washing liquid within a dishwasher onto crockery that has been disposed in the dishwasher as a washing program is executed. Before such spraying of the washing liquid, the washing liquid is heated to a predetermined temperature in a flow section that is separate from the spray system to an extent such that the washing liquid does not substantially impinge on crockery in the dishwasher as it is being heated in the flow section, whereupon the washing liquid is heated without substantially wetting crockery in the dishwasher. After the washing liquid has been heated to the predetermined temperature, the washing liquid is sprayed onto crockery, whereupon crockery in the dishwasher that essentially has not been heated is heated by the washing liquid.

    摘要： A fixing element is provided for fixing a household appliance to a part of the kitchen cabinetry, which is adjacent to the household appliance. The fixing element is configured as a fixation lug and is disposed between the household appliance and the part substantially at least over the total height of the part of the kitchen cabinetry. A compact fixing element is thus obtained, which permits a precise, stable, easy and economic fixation of the household appliance into an opening in the kitchen cabinetry. Another advantage of the lateral fixing element is the clean and pleasant aspect thereof. Moreover, flexible use of only one type of fixing element is possible, due to the fact that the element can be used independently of the counter top material as well as in case of elevated mounting of the appliance or in case of a cutout counter top.
