摘要： The specification discloses a method for containing spills on shelving and the like, and the resulting support members made in accordance with the method, by providing the generally flat top surface of a support with a hydrophobic surface which is arranged in a spill containment pattern and which is generally in the plane of the top surface of the support. The majority of the top surface of the support consists of one or more spill containment areas which are of a non-hydrophobic nature and which are bounded by the hydrophobic surfaces, such that spills on the shelving collect in the non-hydrophobic spill containment area or areas and are prevented from spreading by the hydrophobic surfaces.

摘要： A refrigerator shelving system includes a first shelf, a second shelf, and a slide member. The first shelf has ramped surfaces defining a guideway and a nest disposed within the guideway. The second shelf is suspended from the first shelf. The slide member is secured to the second shelf. The slide member is configured to slide linearly relative to the second shelf. The slide member has a protrusion extending outward therefrom. In response to upward forces acting on the second shelf, the protrusion engages the ramped surfaces and the nest to transition between operational and stowed positions.

摘要： A refrigerator shelving system includes an upper shelf, suspenders, rails, and a lower shelf. The upper shelf has nests disposed along a bottom side of the upper shelf. The suspenders are rotatably secured to the upper shelf. The rails are suspended from the upper shelf via the suspenders. The lower shelf is slidably secured to the rails and has bosses extending laterally outward therefrom. Each of the bosses are configured to engage one of the nests to maintain the lower shelf in a stowed position. The lower shelf is configured to slide forward from the stowed position to an intermediate position via the rails to disengage the bosses from the nests. The lower shelf is configured to rotate downward and rearward via the suspenders to transition from the intermediate position to an operational position.

The holding arrangement has a holding element which is arranged in the region of a side edge of the receiving plate, extends along the side edge and is made at least in part of an electrically conducting metal material. The shelf assembly forms a power supply path via the metal material where the power supply path includes an electrically conducting element that extends into a cutout in the holding element and in electrically conducting contact with the holding element.

摘要： A bottom mount refrigerator is provided with a pantry compartment that is accessible from outside the refrigerator by pulling open an easy access pantry drawer without the need to first open the fresh food compartment or the freezer compartment. A divider between the pantry compartment and the fresh food compartment is formed by a secondary mullion and a transparent shelf. The secondary mullion is provided with a light source for illuminating the contents of the pantry drawer. A light source at the rear of the pantry compartment shines generally forwardly and upwardly to illuminate the fresh food compartment.

The refrigerator includes a cabinet including a storage compartment having a predetermined size, a shelf installed in the storage compartment, the shelf including a light source unit for illuminating an inside of the storage compartment, a transmitter connected to an external power supply for wirelessly transmitting power, the transmitter having a primary resonance frequency within a predetermined range, and a receiver for wirelessly receiving the power from the transmitter so as to supply the power to the light source unit of the shelf, the transmitter transmitting the power to the receiver using a secondary resonance frequency generated when the receiver is located close to the transmitter.
