    摘要: When a processed image obtained by performing image processing on an original image is presented, an option desired by a user is presented. A plurality of object regions is detected from an original image to detect the imaged state of each of the object regions when the original image was obtained. Then, an attention level for each object region is calculated based on the imaged state of the object region, and an output condition and an image processing condition are set based on the calculated attention level. Thereafter, a processed image is generated by performing image processing according to the image processing condition, and the processed image is outputted according to the output condition.

Being saved from the process of measuring the distances to the subjects, the image forming apparatus can be constituted without a distance measuring sensor and the like, thereby reducing the cost. Furthermore, the image forming apparatus can easily form a three-dimensional image.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a method of and an apparatus for electrically processing images. Image processing conditions are set up based on image data obtained by scanning image information recorded on an original to be read. Then, a desired image is displayed on a display unit based on the image data, and finishing information is set to the image displayed thereon. Thereafter, hue space data corresponding to the finishing information set to the image are determined to extract desired image data from a region set up by the hue space data. In addition, a hue image region relative to at least one main subject is selected from hue image regions preset by the image data thus extracted, and image processing conditions are set so as to regard image data in the selected hue image region as the optimum value for the hue in the hue space data. The hue space data are set in a hue space distributed in such a manner as to be directed from an image low-density region to an image high-density region.

    摘要: An image output device judges whether an image processing mode of a first image data set and an image processing mode of a second image data set obtained immediately before the first image data set are the same. If the judgment is YES, the image output device obtains a frequency of photography during obtainment of the first image data set and a time interval between photography of the first image data set and the second image data set. Then, the image output device judges whether a relationship between the frequency and the time interval of photography satisfies a predetermined relationship. If the judgment is NO, the image output device judges that the image processing mode has not been intentionally set. Then, the image output device undoes the image processing, which has already been performed on the first image data set at a digital camera, and performs regular image processing.

To achieve this object, an image recognizing unit recognizes images in a page represented by page description data, and a natural image determining unit determines whether or not each recognized image is a natural image. An image analyzing unit calculates a setup condition for image correction for each natural image. A second correction condition calculating unit calculates, for the similar natural images being similar to each other, a correction condition for making image qualities of the similar natural images substantially uniform. An image correcting unit applies image correction based on the setup condition and the correction condition to the similar natural images.

    摘要: A certainty calculating circuit calculates certainties representing to what degrees of confidence respective ones of images representing a predetermined plurality of types of subject are contained in an image represented by accepted image data, the calculation being performed for every prescribed type of subject based upon a feature value obtained from the accepted image data. A density correction value calculating circuit calculates density correction values with regard to respective ones of the plurality of subject types. Upon being weighted by respective ones of weights that are based upon the calculated certainties of each of the subject types, the plurality of density correction values are unified in a density correction value unifying circuit. The density of the image represented by the accepted image data is corrected in an image correcting circuit using the unified density correction value.
