摘要: The present invention relates to a protein of the scFv type in which said protein comprises a first polypeptide chain and a second polypeptide chain joined by a ligand, having the formula as follows: (VH domain)-(ligand)-(VL domain). The present invention further relates to a polynucleotide comprising the nucleotide sequence shown in SEQ ID NO: 1; to a vector comprising the polynucleotide as defined above; to the host cell comprising the vector as previously defined; and the composition comprising the aforementioned protein and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient. The present invention further relates to a method for treating a disease or condition that results directly or indirectly from α4β1 integrin activity. The present invention further relates to an in vitro method for prognosing multiple sclerosis. The present invention further relates to the use of the previously defined protein or composition in the manufacture of a drug for the treatment of multiple sclerosis.
