Abstract: A method for system information (SI) management includes maintaining global SI applicable to an entirety of a hypercell controlled by a controller and local SI associated with at least one distributed controller of the hypercell, generating a global local SI indicator (GLSII) indicating usage of the local SI in the hypercell, and broadcasting the global SI including the GLSII.
