Abstract: A novel complex which is formed when essentially equimolar proportions of the methyl ester of 3-amino-2,5-dichlorobenzoic acid and the methyl ester of 2,5-dichloro-3-nitrobenzoic acid are heated together which complex shows herbicidal activity.
