Abstract: A system for rendering medical images is described herein. The system can include a processor configured to obtain, using a three-dimensional cursor, a selection of a region of interest from a three-dimensional (3D) medical image. The processor can also detect a three-dimensional cursor setting for the region of interest, the three-dimensional cursor setting indicating at least a rendering setting for the region of interest. Furthermore, the processor can modify a user interface comprising the 3D medical image with the three-dimensional cursor setting applied inside the region of interest, wherein movement of the three-dimensional cursor causes a selection of a second region in the 3D medical image, wherein the second region is displayed with the rendering setting.

Abstract: Various methods and systems are provided for a user interface of a medical imaging system. In one embodiment, a method may include displaying a slider bar comprising a track having a fixed range of values, a first slider thumb defining a maximum value of a first adjustable range on the track, and a second slider thumb defining a minimum value of a second adjustable range on the track; operating the first slider thumb and the second slider thumb in one of a linked mode and an unlinked mode; and adjusting one or both of the maximum value of the first adjustable range and the minimum value of the second adjustable range in response to receiving a single user input based on whether the first slider thumb and the second slider thumb are operating in the linked mode or the unlinked mode.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided herein for displaying annotation panels in a medical imaging graphical user interface (GUI). In one example, a computing device comprising a display screen, the computing device being configured to display on the display screen a plurality of viewports within a GUI, each of the plurality of viewports displaying a respective medical image of a patient, and additionally being configured to display within the GUI one or more annotation icons and one or more annotation panels, the one or more annotation panels accessible directly from the one or more annotation icons and configured to display annotation data as a list of one or more annotations, wherein the each of the one or more annotation panels corresponds to a respective viewport of the GUI, and wherein the one or more annotation icons are displayed with the annotation data in an unlaunched state.
