Abstract: In a preferred form, a centrifugal switch assembly for a motor having a motor starting circuit includes centrifugally actuated spring fingers mounted on the motor shaft and extending radially outwardly between fan blades provided on one end of the motor rotor. The ends of the spring fingers engage an actuator plate which is slidably mounted on an end portion of the motor housing. The spring fingers move the actuator plate so as to engage and disengage switch contacts which are connected in the motor starting circuit.
