摘要： A terminal box, including at least a box (51) having a receiving part (10), a movable control rod (7), multiple electric contacts (8), a thermostat (9) having a terminal (91), and a wiring mechanism (12). The movable control rod (7) is disposed on the box (51) and partially extends therefrom. The electric contacts (8) are disposed in the box (51). The thermostat (9) is disposed on end surface of the box (51). The receiving part (10) operates to receive the thermostat (9). One end of the electric contact (8) extends from the box (51) and forms a connecting part (81). A separating plate (11) is disposed between the connecting part (81) and the thermostat (9). One end of the wiring mechanism (12) is connected to the connecting part (81), and the other end thereof bypasses the outside of the separating plate (11) and is connected to the terminal (91). If the thermostat experiences temperature detection failure, users of the motor can easily remove the wiring mechanism, and timely switch off the power supply connected to the motor via an external protection circuit thereby preventing the motor from being burned out.

摘要： An operating mechanism for a centrifugal switch contains at least: a terminal box, a cover, a movable contact, a static contact, a swing arm, a reset elastic part, and a shifting fork. The movable contact and the static contact are disposed in the terminal box. The shifting fork operates to drive the swing arm to horizontally swing, whereby pushing the movable contact and implementing connection and disconnection between the movable contact and the static contact. The reset elastic part operates to automatically reset the shifting fork and the swing arm. The invention features reduced requirements for dimensional precision and installation precision of components, and low production cost, and is reliable and durable. In addition, the sliding force is uniformly stressed, which ensures accuracy of operation, easy installation, and high operating reliability.

摘要： A centrifugal operated switch particularly suitable for operating a circuit for starter windings of a motor. A spindle is connected to and rotated by the motor shaft. Swing arms connected to the spindle move upwardly and outwardly in response to rotational speed of the spindle. A plunger is movable in the spindle, and moves together with movement of the swing arms. The plunger is operationally connected to a contactor having one end electrically connected to a first terminal, and a second end alternatively connected to and disconnected from a second terminal. Movement of the plunger causes movement of the contactor.

摘要： A miniaturized lighting apparatus for a rotating object includes a light-emitting diode (LED), a centrifugal switch, a tiny 3 volt power source, and electrical conduits. The switch is configured to provide power to the LED only upon application of a specific centrifugal force. As applied to an in-line roller skate wheel, the switch and LED may be sealed within the wheel, and the batteries never need replacement because the battery life exceeds the expected wheel life. An in-line skate wheel incorporating the lighting apparatus within it is activated to light the wheel at a predetermined centrifugal force equivalent to a given rotational speed of the wheel, such as 80 rpm. As applied to a reflector light for a bicycle wheel, the light draws power from the battery(ies) only while the wheel is turning at a minimum predetermined rotational speed such as 20 rpm. As applied to a rotatable flying disc, lighting apparatus are mounted on opposite sides of the disc, near the disc periphery. The switch is constructed to actuate the LED at a low rotational speed, and the disc itself is constructed of a phosphorescent material with persistent afterglow. Alternatively, a time delay may be incorporated into the lighting circuit to provide a delayed shut-off of current to the LED.

摘要： A dust proof electric switch is provided for use in a dynamoelectric machine employing a centrifugal acuator having a terminal board with a cup formed therein in which a fixed contact point and terminal are mounted. A pivotable switch arm having a contact point attached thereto is mounted to the arm and extends above and cantilevered across the terminal board so that pressure on the switch arm from the centrifugal acuator causes the contact points to touch thereby closing the circuit. An open ended, resilient, flexible boot is affixed to the cup and extends upward between the terminal board to snuggly abut the switch arm and completely enclose the contact points when they are touching and when they are apart thereby protecting the contact area from dust and debris as well as containing sparks within the boot. The terminal board contains stops which serve to maintain alignment of the switch arm.

摘要： Motor has outboard switch compartment with components therein such as a capacitor, thermal protector, terminal board, motor circuit controlling switch assembly, a manual switch, a thermal plastic molded cover for the compartment fastened with axially directed screws, and an optional rain shroud positively positioned on the end shield. The switch assembly is designed to have accurate contact alignment which will be maintained over the life of the switch; a wiping action of the contacts; a high amount of contact travel in terms of percentage of switch actuator travel; protected contact blade arms; and a multiple height mounting feature which assures a more optimum location of the switch at final assembly with respect to the location of the switch operating mechnism. Switch arms are essentially parallel and have contacts positioned directly in line with the actuating line of a switch actuator and an operating mechanism. A switch arm support is a molded synthetic material housing which, with a synthetic material molded switch actuator, provide precise and accurate preloading of the contact arms. Non-stick actuator features are included. Also included is a novel cover attaching approach and method, as well as switch assembly variable height mounting means and methods.
