Abstract: Embodiments of the system support hospital operations, delivery of health care, and improve patient satisfaction. The interactive hospital information system utilizes inputs from a mobile device, eliminating the cost of fixed cameras and sensor systems in the hospital facility. Aspects of the invention facilitate real-time patient care and patient room updates by care providers, validating that prescribed devices, services, and setups are in place per protocol. The system communicates with rounding persons as to specific care management.
