Abstract: The present application relates to a method and apparatus for multi vehicle sensor suite diagnosis in a motor vehicle including a receiver operative to receive a remote vehicle sensor data indicative of a location of a target, a sensor operative to collect a host vehicle sensor data indicative of the location of the target, a processor operative to generate a sensor confidence score in response to a comparison of the first remote vehicle sensor data and the host vehicle sensor data, the processor being further operative to perform an assisted driving operation in response to the sensor confidence score, and a transmitter for transmitting the host vehicle sensor data and the sensor confidence score to a first remote vehicle.

Abstract: A method of controlling a vehicle having an automated driving system configured to control vehicle steering includes determining a commanded vehicle path. The method additionally includes calculating a steering command to satisfy the commanded vehicle path. The method also includes controlling vehicle steering, via the automated driving system, according to the steering command. The method further controls detecting a difference between an actual vehicle path and the commanded vehicle path, and, in response to the detected difference, controlling the vehicle according to a secondary mode.

Abstract: A system and method to perform lane position sensing and tracking in a vehicle include using a first camera with a first field of view of a first side of the vehicle and a second camera with a second field of view on a second side of the vehicle to capture images. The method includes determining if a first lane line on a first side of the vehicle and a second lane line on the second side of the vehicle are both visible, and based on the first lane line and the second lane line being visible, determining, a position of the vehicle in a lane between the first lane line and the second lane line and determining a trajectory of the first lane line and the second lane line and of the vehicle.
