Abstract: A system is configured to receive a request from a user device; and select, based on the request, a content segment from a collection of content segments based on one or more parameters associated with each content segment. The one or more parameters may include a popularity metric indicating a frequency of the content segment. A respective popularity metric may be assigned to each content segment of the collection of content segments by a classifier. The collection of content segments may be obtained from a group of sources. The system is further configured to obtain local search results using the selected content segment as a query; select a search result from the obtained search results; and provide information about the search result to the user device.
