    Abstract: Conducting hands-free transactions comprises a server at a payment processing system, a user computing device, and a merchant computing device. The payment processing system registers a merchant system as a hands-free payment participant and provides a beacon identifier. The payment processing system receives a communication from a hands- free payment application on a user computing device, the communication comprising a transaction token, an identification of a user account, and the beacon identifier received by the user computing device via a wireless communication from a device associated with the merchant system and transmits the transaction token to the merchant system computing device. The payment processing system receives from the merchant system computing device, a transaction request, the transaction request comprising the token and transaction data associated with the transaction request and conducts the transaction between the user account and the merchant system based on the received token and transaction request.

    Abstract: An application on a user computing device receives a beacon identifier from a service computing device, generates a first service request token, and transmits the first service request token to the service computing device. The application on the user computing device transmits a first communication comprising the first service request token, an account identifier, and the beacon identifier to a service request processing system. The service request processing system receives, from a service computing device, a request comprising the first service request token and the service request data. The service request processing system determines that the service request exceeds a configured service request limit, communicates, to the application on the user computing device, a request for an authorization of the service request, and receives an authorization for the service request from the application on the user computing device, and processes the service request in response to receiving the authorization.

The payment processing system receives a communication from a hands-free payment application on a user device, the communication comprising a first transaction token, an identification of a user account, and a beacon identifier. The merchant may provide a challenge to the user and use the response to identify the token and account of the user. The merchant computing device can use voice patterns of the user to assist in identifying the token and account of the user. The system receives from the merchant computing device a transaction request, the transaction request comprising the first transaction token and transaction data associated with the transaction request. The system determines that the transaction is for an amount less than a configured transaction limit and communicates a request for an authorization of the transaction.

    Abstract: Processing of merchant-specific functionality services during proximity connection transactions. The merchant terminal transmits additional data to the computing device that enables the device to identify the merchant. The computing device can enable merchant-specific features, such as offers, rewards, loyalty information, and other incentives that are applicable to the identified merchant. The bi-directional communication between the devices permits the computing device to transmit these identified incentives to the merchant terminal. The merchant terminal can then adjust the purchase price. The computing device can also enable a merchant-specific financial instrument and can communicate the identity of the merchant to a management system. The management system can establish a network connection with the merchant to provide larger amounts of data that would otherwise exceed the limited bandwidth of the proximity connection used to establish the secure communication channel between the computing device and the merchant terminal.
