Abstract: One aspect of the present invention is an energy storage device that includes an electrode assembly including a positive electrode, a heat resistance layer, a separator, and a negative electrode layered in this order, a peeling strength between the positive electrode and the heat resistance layer being larger than a peeling strength between the heat resistance layer and the separator, and the peeling strength between the heat resistance layer and the separator being larger than a peeling strength between the separator and the negative electrode.
