Abstract: In the present invention, a display unit 50 of a pattern generation device 5 displays a reception screen for receiving a selection and/or an input regarding charging/discharging of a power storage system having a power storage device. An operation unit 51 receives, in the reception screen, a selection made from among multiple kinds of operations regarding charging/discharging. On the basis of the operation selected through the operation unit 51, a control unit 53 generates pattern data which is used for predicting a deterioration of the power storage device and which indicates transitions of charging/discharging amounts.

Abstract: A maintenance method for a power storage device 1 in which a plurality of power storage units 9 in which a plurality of battery cells 11 are connected in series are connected in parallel. The maintenance method includes a comparison step for comparing log data for battery cells 11 that are at the same series connection positions in the power storage units 9 and a determination step for determining, on the basis of comparison results from the comparison step, the power storage unit 9 at which an abnormality has occurred.
