Abstract: A rearview assembly includes a rearview device having at least one of a display and an electro-optic element. A mount is pivotally coupled with the rearview device. The mount includes a receiving aperture for receiving an installation tool. A mounting button is operably coupled with a vehicle and is configured to engage the mount, wherein during installation, the installation tool is used to rotate the mount into engagement with the mounting button.

The communication module includes an antenna electrically coupled with the control module and an antenna housing at least partially enclosing the antenna and coupled within the recess of the exterior surface of the main housing.

Abstract: A windshield mount for a rearview mirror assembly includes a supporting ring that defines an outer supporting perimeter and an inner supporting perimeter. The inner supporting perimeter defines an aperture. A button defines an outer button perimeter and the button is located in the aperture. A space is defined between the inner supporting perimeter and the outer button perimeter. An adhesive is within the space to secure the supporting ring to the button.
