Abstract: A charging method and a power system are provided. The power system includes multiple batteries, multiple charging integrated circuits respectively coupled to the multiple batteries, and a processor. The charging method is performed by the processor, and includes: obtaining multiple remaining capacities of the multiple batteries, respectively; selecting a battery from the multiple batteries that is lowest in remaining capacity as a target battery, and using a charging integrated circuit of the multiple charging integrated circuits that is coupled to the target battery as a target charging integrated circuit; and configuring the target charging integrated circuit to charge the target battery according to a first total power, and configuring each of the multiple charging integrated circuits other than the target charging integrated circuit to charge a corresponding one of the multiple batteries according to a second total power that is less than the first total power.

Abstract: A battery detection circuit and a battery detection method are provided. The battery detection circuit includes battery gauge circuits and a processing circuit. The battery gauge circuits read battery information of batteries, and the battery information at least includes a current battery capacity, a current temperature and a current cell voltage. The processing circuit receives and processes the battery information, and performs: determining whether a battery temperature of any one of the batteries is greater than a designated temperature; if negative, determining whether the current cell voltage of any one of the batteries is lower than a designated voltage, and if affirmative, adjusting the corresponding current battery capacity to generate a reported battery capacity.

Abstract: A power management system and a power management method that are adapted to an electronic device are provided. The power management system includes an alternative current power supply, a first battery, a first charger, a second battery, a second charger, and a control circuit. The control circuit is electrically connected to the first charger and the second charger. The control circuit is configured to detect capacities of the first battery and the second battery, to set a first system power of the first charger as a first rated power, and to set a second system power of the second charger to be less than the first rated power. The control circuit enables a turbo boost mode of the first charger and disables a turbo boost mode of the second charger.
