The process requires: (1) removal of the doctor blade and magnetic roller from the cartridge; (2) treatment of the doctor blade to restore the shape of said doctor blade; (3) coating of the doctor blade and magnetic roller with an antistatic and anti abrasive coating; and (4) placement of the doctor blade and magnetic roller back into the cartridge. Additional processes involving reuse of other toner cartridge components are also described.
