    Abstract: A developer replenishing container configured to be detachably attachable to a developer replenishing device and to replenish developer via the developer replenishing device is disclosed. The developer replenishing container includes: a developer replenishing portion with a replenishing opening; and a shutter with at least one shutter opening that can communicate with the replenishing opening, the shutter being configured to open and close the replenishing opening according to attaching and detaching operations of the developer replenishing container, wherein the shutter is movable between a sealing position where the replenishing opening is sealed, a replenishing position where the shutter opening faces the replenishing opening to replenish developer from the developer replenishing container, and a filling position where the developer replenishing container is filled with developer without sealing the replenishing opening.

    Abstract: A powder replenisher includes a powder replenishment container to be replenished with powder. A pressure adjuster increases and decreases operating pressure applied to a variable capacity portion. A powder measuring instrument measures an amount of the powder that replenishes the powder replenishment container. A controller performs a precise replenishing mode in which, after the controller determines that the powder replenishment container is replenished with the powder in a predetermined amount, while the controller controls the powder measuring instrument to measure the amount of the powder inside the powder replenishment container, the controller controls the pressure adjuster to replenish the powder replenishment container with the powder in a target amount. The controller controls the pressure adjuster to replenish the powder replenishment container with the powder while the controller controls the pressure adjuster based on the operating pressure detected by an operating pressure detector in the precise replenishing mode.

    Abstract: According to examples, a toner refill apparatus may include a chamber to house a toner, in which the chamber may include an insertion section, the insertion section to be inserted into a refill port of a toner cartridge and including a discharge opening, the refill port including an electrical circuit component. The apparatus may also include a valve mechanism positioned at the discharge opening to control output of the toner from the chamber through the discharge opening, in which an actuator may engage the valve mechanism and may controllably open the valve mechanism. The apparatus may further include an electronic chip to be in electrical communication the electrical circuit component, in which a controller may activate the actuator based on a detection that the electronic chip is in contact with the electrical circuit component.

    Abstract: A developer set includes a first developer and a second developer. The first developer contains a first toner containing first toner particles and a first carrier containing first carrier particles. The second developer contains a second toner containing second toner particles and a second carrier containing second carrier particles. The first toner particles and the second toner particles each include a toner mother particle and external additive particles attached to the surface of the toner mother particle. The external additive particles include spacer particles. The spacer particles have a number average primary particle diameter of at least 32 nm and no greater than 145 nm. The first carrier particles each include a first carrier mother particle and strontium titanate particles attached to the surface of the first carrier mother particle.
