Abstract:
A surface treating implement, comprises a body including:— a container receiver; a nozzle assembly comprising a fluid conduit fluidly connected to the container receiver; a container mounted to the container receiver, containing a predetermined amount of a treating composition and having a dispensing opening in fluid communication with the fluid conduit; wherein the body is associated with a handle which includes at least a portion of an activation means for the implement, characterized in that the fluid conduit includes a valve, wherein the valve is operable by a container member attached to and/or extending from the container, adjacent the dispensing opening. The body of the implement includes a variety of brushing means.
Abstract:
An apparatus for mounting and controlling sprayed application of a substance from a canister with a manual actuator mechanism. The apparatus comprises a main body portion with means for removable mounting of a canister. A handle extends from the main body portion. A trigger is connected to the handle. The trigger is adapted for causing said canister to emit a spray upon manual actuation thereof. The handle is in the form of a tube. Disposed within the tube is a rigid linkage cooperating with the aerosol canister and the trigger. The linkage has a resilient arm bias against the interior of the tube.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a detergent composition dispensing device. The device is removably insertable into a washing machine. The device comprises a chamber to accommodate a detergent composition, a detection means to detect the presence of water and/or wash liquor in the machine and a pumping means to pump the detergent composition from the chamber out of the device. The pumping means is influenced by an output signal from the detection means, characterised in that the detection means has an associated algorithm such that water is not deemed to have been detected until water and/or wash liquor has been detected as being present over a certain portion of a per-determined time interval in a wash cycle.
Abstract:
A dosing and dispensing device for liquid detergent comprises a hollow body having a portion comprising a flexible material, wherein at least one slit is provided in the flexible portion for dispensing the product, and means to spread at least a portion of the contained liquid detergent onto a surface of fabric. The slit is (progressively) opened when pressure is applied to said device on a surface to which the liquid detergent is applied. The opening is substantially closed when said pressure stops.
Abstract:
A detergent composition dispensing device removable insertable into a washing machine comprises:— (a) a primary chamber to accommodate a detergent composition, (b) a secondary chamber, for releasing same into the wash liquor of the washing machine, (c) a mechanism for transferring detergent from the primary to the secondary chamber, the mechanism comprising: (i) a movable piston disposed within the secondary chamber (ii) a valve arranged between the primary chamber and the secondary chamber, which, when operated, permits flow of the detergent composition there-between.
Abstract:
A product comprises a pillow made of a plastics sheet material. The material is porous. The product further comprises particles of a support material contained within the pillow. One or more of the particles of support of the plastics sheet material are reversible impregnated with a detergent formulation.
Abstract:
A packaging container for powder or granular material. The container has a perforated portion with a sealing film. The container is used for a container for storage, capable of discharging its contents of the required quantity at a required time. The sealing film may be replaceable sealed against the perforated portion.
