Abstract: In an implementation, a virtual reality (VR) headset can include a plurality of structural components. Each structural component can be formed from a respective cardboard sheet. The plurality of structural components can include a plurality of flaps that define an opening for placement of the VR headset near or against a face of a user in a first configuration, an internal wall of the VR headset, a bottom wall of the VR headset, a lens frame assembly, a top wall of the VR headset and an enclosure flap hingeably coupled with the bottom wall of the VR headset. The enclosure flap can, in a first configuration, secure an electronic device in the VR headset against the internal wall. In a second configuration, the enclosure flap can enclose the plurality of flaps that define the opening between the internal wall and the enclosure flap.

Abstract: In a general aspect, an apparatus can include a goggle portion having a chassis that is open on a first side, a lens assembly disposed on a second side of the chassis of the goggle portion and a ledge disposed around an interior perimeter of the chassis of the goggle portion. The ledge can be configured to physically support an electronic device inserted in the goggle portion. The apparatus can also include a cover portion having a chassis that is open on a first side and at least partially closed on a second side. The cover portion can be configured to be placed over the goggle portion, such that at least a portion of the goggle portion is disposed within the cover portion and the electronic device is retained between the ledge and an interior surface of the second side of the cover portion.

Abstract: In some implementations, faces based on image data from a camera of a mobile device are detected and one or more of the detected faces are determined to correspond to one or more people in a set of people that are classified as being important to a user. In response to determining that one or more of the detected faces correspond to one or more people in the set of people that are classified as being important to the user, quality scores are determined for the one or more detected faces that are determined to correspond to one or more people that are classified as important to the user. Multiple images with the camera are captured based on the quality scores such that, for each face determined to correspond to a person that is classified as important to the user, at least one of the multiple images includes an image of the face having at least a minimum quality score. A composite image is generated that combines the multiple images.
