摘要： The present invention provides a washer, damper thereof, and control method thereof, by which noise is reduced by adjusting a damping force of the damper in a manner of turning on/off power of the damper according to an oscillation frequency of a vibrating body such as a washer. The control method reduces noise by supplying power to a damper in an excessive vibration state of a vibrating body such as a washer or by cutting off the power supplied to the damper in a normal vibration state of the vibrating body.

The comb polarizing ring includes a plurality of teeth disposed between the protrusions of the permanent magnet, and is formed of a material with a magnetism that is weaker than a magnetism of the protrusions.

摘要： A driving device and a method of driving a washing machine is disclosed. The efficiency of the motor of the washing machine is enhanced and the capacity of an inverter is reduced thereby reducing manufacturing costs. The driving device includes a variable motor, of which the rotational speed varies to apply a driving force to a drum to rotate, an inverter to convert a direct current voltage into an alternating current voltage and to vary a voltage applied to the variable motor, and an inverter driver to compare a control signal with a carrier to drive the inverter by pulse width modulation. A frequency of the carrier wave is varied for the pulse width modulation.

An induction motor for a drum washing machine includes: a concentrated winding stator with a plurality of teeth that project from a circumference thereof and a coil wounded around each tooth; a rotor frame connected to a shaft directly fixed to a rotatable drum in the drum washing machine, wherein the concentrated winding stator is located in the rotor frame; and a rotor conductor that generates induced currents in closed circuits along a circumferential direction of the rotor frame when electric currents are applied to the coils so that the rotor frame rotates, wherein the closed circuit is skewed.
