Abstract: Polyurethanes and hot melt moisture curable adhesive compositions that include the same are disclosed. The polyurethane includes the reaction product of diisocyanate and a semi-crystalline polyester polyol having an acid number of less than 4 and including the reaction product of a saturated fatty component having a hydroxyl number less than 2, the saturated fatty component being selected from the group consisting of saturated fatty acid, saturated fatty acid ester, saturated oil, and combinations thereof, a polyhydric alcohol that includes at least three hydroxyl groups, and a dibasic acid.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a hot melt adhesive composition, comprising based on the total weight of the hot melt adhesive composition: (a) from about 10 to about 50 weight percent of at least one block copolymer; (b) from about 15 to about 50 weight percent of at least one plasticizer; (c) from about 15 to about 50 weight percent of at least one resins; (d) optionally up to 25 weight percent of at least one semicrystalline polyolefin; and (e) optionally up to 10 weight percent of at least one wax.
