Abstract: A shaft for a media transport assembly includes a first assembly provided at a first end of the shaft to datum the shaft, and a second assembly provided at a second end of the shaft to bias the shaft in a direction opposite the second end of the shaft such that the first assembly and the second assembly each provide point contact with a respective surface oriented substantially perpendicular to an axis of the shaft.
