摘要: A controlling method and a touch panel are provided. The touch panel includes a panel capacitor, a first circuit, a first capacitor, a second circuit and a controlling circuit. The first capacitor is coupled to the panel capacitor. The first circuit transmits a scan signal to the panel capacitor. The second circuit transmits an inverting signal to the first capacitor. The inverting signal is synchronized with the scan signal, a frequency of the inverting signal is identical to a frequency of the scan signal, and the inverting signal is phase-inverted from the scan signal. The controlling circuit outputs a touch signal in response to a voltage at a terminal of the panel capacitor, in which the touch signal is configured to estimate a capacitance of the panel capacitor. Accordingly, a resolution requirement of the controlling circuit is reduced.

摘要: The touch display device includes a display panel and a panel driver. The display panel displays a video and to receive a touch operation. The panel driver includes a timing controller and a memory module. The timing controller generates a clock signal, each cycle of the clock signal including N display periods and N touch periods, the total time of the N display periods corresponding to a frame of a video signal, and the total time of the N display periods and the N touch periods corresponding to one cycle of the video signal, in which N is a positive integer. The panel driver alternately drives the panel to display the video during each of the N display periods and to detect the touch operation during each of the N touch periods. The memory module sequentially stores the image data of the video signal according to the clock signal.

摘要: A touch panel includes a cover lens located at top of the touch panel, plural touch sensor units, and plural sensing channels. The touch sensor units are disposed below the cover lens and arranged in rows and columns. The touch sensor units are disposed on the sensing channels. Each of touch sensor units acquires a sensing magnitude for identifying a position of the cover lens that touched by the stylus according to signals outputted by the sensing channels. The sensing magnitude of one of the touch sensor units is composed of the signals of the adjacent sensing channels located within a vertical projection of the one of the touch sensor units.

摘要: An apparatus integrated with fingerprint recognition and touch detection is provided. The apparatus includes a touchpad and a controller IC. The touchpad has a touch area for recognizing a touch event and a fingerprint area for recognizing a fingerprint and the touch event. The fingerprint area includes TX lines of a first group crossing RX lines of a first group. The touch area includes TX lines of the first group and a second group crossing RX lines of the first group and a second group. When the apparatus is operated in a fingerprint sensing mode, the controller IC supplies a driving signal to the TX lines of the first group. When the apparatus is operated in a touch sensing mode, the controller IC supplies the driving signal to the TX lines of the second group and a portion of the TX lines of the first group.
