THEY CAN, HOWEVER, BE DEGRADED BY THE ACTION OF ULTRA-VIOLET LIGHT IF THEY CONTAIN LIGHT SENSITIZERS, FOR EXAMPLE ANTHRONE. THE POLYACETALS ARE SUITABLE FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF SHAPED ARTICLES, ESPECIALLY SHEETS.

THESE DAYLIGHT FLURESCENT PIGMENTS MAY BE EMPLOYED FOR PREPARING FLURESCENT PAINTS, FOR EXAMPLE AIR-AIR-DRYING LACQUERS ON THE BASIS OF AKYL RESIN OR PHYSICALLY DRYING LACQUERS ON THE BASIS OF ACRYLIC RESINS, AS WELL AS FOR PREPARING FLURESCENT PRINTING INKS SUCH AS INKS FOR SCREEN PRINTING INTAGLIO PRINTING, BOOK PRINTING AND OFFSET-LITHO PRINTING.
