Abstract: Process for dyeing textile materials of natural or synthetic fibers alone in mixture with each other, by treating the fibrous material with a solution of suitable dyestuffs in anhydrous, liquid ammonia alone or in mixture with low boiling organic solvents, within the range below the boiling point of the dyebath, and fixing the dyestuffs applied after removal of the ammonia remaining in the material in known manner typical for the dyestuffs or the dyegoods used.
