摘要: A vehicle control system includes a steering input member rotatably supported by a vehicle body, a first capacitive sensor provided on a first surface portion of the steering input member facing in one direction along a rotational center line of the steering input member, a second capacitive sensor provided on a second surface portion of the steering input member opposite to the first surface portion, and a control unit configured to control a drive unit and/or a brake unit of the vehicle according to signals from the first and second capacitive sensors. The control unit executes an acceleration control to control the drive unit to accelerate the vehicle when a prescribed signal is received from the first capacitive sensor, and to execute a deceleration control to control the drive unit and/or the brake unit to decelerate the vehicle when a prescribed signal is received from the second capacitive sensor.

摘要: A steering wheel includes: a rim part having a non-annular shape; and a spoke part. The spoke part includes an inflection section, an upper inclination surface, and a lower inclination surface. The inflection section extends along an extension direction of the spoke part and faces a driver's side. The upper inclination surface extends toward an upper side from the inflection section and is curved to a vehicle forward side. The lower inclination surface extends toward a lower side from the inflection section and is curved to the vehicle forward side. The upper inclination surface is set such that a radius of curvature of a portion curved to the vehicle forward side is larger than a radius of curvature of a portion curved to the vehicle forward side of the lower inclination surface. The rim part includes a protrusion portion protruding upward from a position adjacent to the upper inclination surface in a steering neutral state.

摘要: A vehicle control system includes: a travel control unit configured to switch a driving mode of a vehicle; a traveling state detecting unit configured to detect a traveling state of the vehicle; a generating unit configured to generate at least one turning line; an external environment recognizing device configured to detect a state of an external environment of the vehicle; a setting unit configured to set a traveling area in front of the vehicle in a traveling direction thereof; and a determining unit configured to determine whether the turning line is located in the traveling area. In a case where the determining unit determines that the turning line is not located in the traveling area while a manual driving mode is selected, the travel control unit switches the driving mode of the vehicle from the manual driving mode to an autonomous driving mode.

摘要: A steering wheel includes: a rim part having a non-annular shape; and a spoke part. In the rim part, a region that becomes an upper section in a steering neutral state is not continuous. The rim part includes a protrusion portion protruding toward an upper side in the steering neutral state from an intersection region intersecting the spoke part. The protrusion portion includes at least one of an inclination rear surface and an inclination front surface. The inclination rear surface is inclined to a vehicle rearward side toward an upper side in the steering neutral state from a surface facing the vehicle rearward side of the intersection region. The inclination front surface is inclined to a vehicle forward side toward an upper side in the steering neutral state from a surface facing the vehicle forward side of the intersection region.
