Abstract: A compressor system is provided with an impeller disposed to rotate in a compressor chamber. A diffuser extends around the impeller to collect fluid leaving the impeller. Main flow is discharged from the diffuser through an exit providing an opening that extends circumferentially around the compressor. A bleed annulus extends around the compressor and has a consistent cross-sectional area. A bleed port that opens the diffuser to the bleed annulus and that is configured to divert a bleed flow of the fluid from the main flow before discharge through the exit. The bleed port has a circumference around the compressor and a flow size that varies around the circumference. Variation in the flow size of the bleed port maintains a uniform flow distribution around the exit.

Abstract: A heat exchanger system includes a core structure with an oil flow path configured to receive an oil flow. The heat exchanger system also includes a fuel flow path included in the core structure and configured to receive a fuel flow. The fuel flow path is coupled to the oil flow path to allow the fuel flow to receive heat from the oil flow in the oil flow path. Also, the heat exchanger system includes a supplemental airflow path defined at least partly by the core structure and configured to receive a supplemental airflow that receives heat from at least one of the oil flow and the fuel flow.

Abstract: A rotary valve system includes a first body having a first plurality of fluid channels. The first fluid channels have a common first inlet to receive a fluid and a first outlet. The system includes a second body coupled to the first body. The second body has a second plurality of fluid channels. The second fluid channels have a second inlet and a second outlet. The system includes a plate assembly having a plate coupled between the first body and the second body. The plate is movable between at least a first, open position in which the first outlet of at least one of the first fluid channels is in fluid communication with the second inlet of at least one of the second fluid channels and a second, closed position in which the second inlet of each of the second fluid channels is substantially completely obstructed by the plate.
