The method includes: obtaining N frames of images in response to a first operation, where the first operation is an operation performed on a photographing control, the N frames of images are N frames of images in a preview picture that are collected by using a camera, and N is a positive integer; and determining a target image as an output raw image in a process of sequentially obtaining jitter amounts of all of the N frames of images, where the raw image is an image obtained by an electronic device by using a sensor of the camera, and the target image is an image that meets a jitter amount requirement and that is determined from the N frames of images based on the jitter amounts. Sharpness of a raw image can be ensured, thereby improving photographing experience of users.

Abstract: A shooting method and a related device. According to the shooting method, a camera application in an electronic device may send an instruction of shooting in advance through a custom interface when a user taps a shutter control. The electronic device may determine a current 3 A state based on the instruction of shooting. If the current 3 A state is a 3 A lock state, the electronic device obtains an image frame. In the foregoing process, the electronic device may further capture a variable exposure frame in advance, and obtain an image in a buffered frame queue based on address information and a reference count of the image. The electronic device may not only increase a shooting response speed of the electronic device, but also select a clearer image for fusion more accurately. This increases definition of a shot image and improves shooting experience of the user.

Abstract: An automatic photographing method and an electronic device. The method includes: collect an image frame sequence from image data obtained by a camera sensor, and detect a semantic meaning and picture quality of each image frame in the image frame sequence; buffer the image frame if it is detected that the semantic meaning and the picture quality of the image frame meet a preset buffer condition; and if it is detected that the semantic meaning and the picture quality of the image frame meet a preset photographing triggering condition, invoke a preset photographing algorithm to process to-be-photographed data to generate a photographing result. An entire process does not need to be actively triggered by a user. The hardware abstraction layer may detect each frame of image in real time after a camera application is started, and automatically buffers the image or triggers photographing when the image meets a preset condition.
