    摘要: An optical passive stereo assembly for generating a three-dimensional image, the optical assembly comprising: two image capturing devices each mounted within the optical passive stereo assembly in a skewed position to the other with respect to the horizontal plane; a processor configured to: process data retrieved from a plurality of pixels comprised within images captured by the two image capturing devices, and generate a point cloud, being a set of data points in a 3D space retrieved from the tilted coordinate system (X′, Y′, Z′); apply a 2D rotation in the X-Y plane to the point cloud, thereby converting the coordinate system of the resulting point cloud to a conventional cartesian coordinate system (X, Y, Z), to enable generating the three-dimensional image.

    摘要: The disclosed techniques involve simulated reality systems, which can include a head mounted display (HMD) device that can remotely control a three-dimensional (3D) stereoscopic camera rig based on position, motions, and/or orientation data of the HMD device. The system may include multiple video cameras arranged side-by-side on a rig to capture video feeds of a real-world environment that can be stitched together in real-time to create a single stereoscopic 3D, 180 degree video rendered with a HMD as a panoramic video. An example of a use case includes pairing automotive body shops and insurance claims adjusters, and allowing them to perform insurance claim adjustments remotely via a live peer-to-peer video. Further, a process of creating an algorithm that pairs vehicle damages with insurance claim adjusters who have experience with particular vehicle makes and models is disclosed.

    摘要: An electronic device can include a first image sensor configured to capture a first image of a field of view and a second image sensor configured to capture a second image of the field of view. The electronic device can include a color filter adjacent to the second image sensor such that the field of view is viewable by the second image sensor through the color filter. The first image can have a first pixel resolution. The second image can have a second pixel resolution. The electronic device can include a controller configured to determine a third image based on luminance content of the first image and color content of the second image. The third image can have a third pixel resolution indicative of a spatial resolution of the first image and a spectral resolution of the second image.
