摘要: An optical passive stereo assembly for generating a three-dimensional image, the optical assembly comprising: two image capturing devices each mounted within the optical passive stereo assembly in a skewed position to the other with respect to the horizontal plane; a processor configured to: process data retrieved from a plurality of pixels comprised within images captured by the two image capturing devices, and generate a point cloud, being a set of data points in a 3D space retrieved from the tilted coordinate system (X′, Y′, Z′); apply a 2D rotation in the X-Y plane to the point cloud, thereby converting the coordinate system of the resulting point cloud to a conventional cartesian coordinate system (X, Y, Z), to enable generating the three-dimensional image.

In some examples, the electronic device transitions between user interfaces for capturing photos based on data received from a first camera and a second camera. In some examples, the electronic device provides enhanced zooming capabilities that result in visual pleasing results for a displayed digital viewfinder and for captured videos. In some examples, the electronic device provides user interfaces for transitioning a digital viewfinder between a first camera with an applied digital zoom to a second camera with no digital zoom. In some examples, the electronic device prepares to capture media at various magnification levels. In some examples, the electronic device enhanced capabilities for navigating through a plurality of values.

摘要: The disclosed techniques involve simulated reality systems, which can include a head mounted display (HMD) device that can remotely control a three-dimensional (3D) stereoscopic camera rig based on position, motions, and/or orientation data of the HMD device. The system may include multiple video cameras arranged side-by-side on a rig to capture video feeds of a real-world environment that can be stitched together in real-time to create a single stereoscopic 3D, 180 degree video rendered with a HMD as a panoramic video. An example of a use case includes pairing automotive body shops and insurance claims adjusters, and allowing them to perform insurance claim adjustments remotely via a live peer-to-peer video. Further, a process of creating an algorithm that pairs vehicle damages with insurance claim adjusters who have experience with particular vehicle makes and models is disclosed.

摘要: This patent provides a novel stereoscopic imaging system. In the preferred embodiment, the improved stereoscopic imaging system would be incorporated onto a smart phone, which is called the stereoscopic smart phone (SSP). The SSP would work in conjunction with one or more stereoscopic head display units (SHDUs). Once this system is operational, it will allow significant improvements to obtaining stereoscopic imagery. One novel aspect of this patent comprises wherein the stereoscopic cameras on the SSP can move in position to alter stereo separation distance and change the convergence to optimally image a scene.

摘要: A computer-implemented method for obtaining thermal image data of a body part and a thermal imager are disclosed. The method comprises receiving image data of a body part, the image data including thermal image data, the thermal image data including thermal image data of the body part and background thermal image data, applying a classifier to the image data to detect a profile of the body part, the classifier being configured to use image data other than the thermal image data to perform the detection, generating a mask from said profile, and applying the mask to the thermal image data to remove the background thermal image data and obtain thermal image data of the body part.
