Abstract: A first communications device is disposed in a first vehicle, and the first communications device includes: a first information processing unit, where the first information processing unit obtains first status information of the first vehicle; determines, based on the first status information, whether a vehicle accident occurs; and generates a first emergency call message when determining that the vehicle accident has occurred, where the first emergency call message includes a first accident level; and a first vehicle-to-vehicle communications unit, where the first vehicle-to-vehicle communications unit is coupled to the first information processing unit, and the first vehicle-to-vehicle communications unit receives the first emergency call message from the first information processing unit, and sends the first emergency call message in a first range around the first vehicle. A corresponding second communications device is further provided to send a rescue response message in response to an emergency call message.
