    Abstract: This application provides example data transmission methods and corresponding example devices. One example method includes sending, by a first device, a first packet to a second device, where the first packet includes transmission policy negotiation information, and where the transmission policy negotiation information is used to negotiate a transmission policy used when the second device uses a multipath connection. The first device can then receive a second packet from the second device, where the second packet includes first policy information, and where the first policy information indicates a transmission policy used when the second device uses the multipath connection. The first device can then transmit data with the second device based on the first policy information by using a transmission policy corresponding to the first policy information.

    Abstract: A data flow control method. During selection of an initial transmission path for a newly created data flow, a Flow Completion Time (FCT) for outputting the data flow through a plurality of networks are estimated, and a network corresponding to a relatively short estimated time is selected to transmit the data flow. In addition, in a data flow transmission process, a network transmission requirement of an application corresponding to a sent data packet is identified, transmission performance on a current path is evaluated based on a type of a service carried in the data flow, and whether the data flow needs to be changed is determined based on transmission performance of a link currently accessed by a terminal.

    Abstract: This application provides a subflow establishment method. A local-end device obtains an identifier of an operator currently accessed by a network interface card of the local end device. The local-end device obtains a plurality of IP addresses of a peer-end device and identifiers of operators to which the plurality of IP addresses are homed; and establishes, by matching a plurality of operators corresponding to the local-end device and the plurality of operators corresponding to the peer-end device, a subflow between an IP address pair homed to a same operator.
